S. Shankar, CFP^CM (FPSBI Number : 00035929) is the Founder of Credo Capital. A Computer Science Graduate, His passion made him move to Financial Advisory and Investment Planning shortly after graduation. He has a Diploma in Capital Markets from ICFAI & is a Certified Financial Planner from Financial Planning Standards Board India and also an AMFI Certified Mutual Fund Distributor.
Shankar spearheads the firm as Chief Financial Planner and handles client relationships. He has been featured in many publications including Mint, Economic Times, Outlook etc. Shankar has also been a guest speaker at various forums such as Management Development Programs conducted by ICAI, CFA Society, etc.,
Prior to starting Credo Capital, he was a Sr. Manager with IL&FS Investsmart (an HSBC Group Co) Shankar has more than 19 years of experience in Investment markets spanning Equity, Debt and Mutual Fund segments. Shankar's hobbies include gardening, researching history and Indian art, and reading non-fiction.
